Feds To Probe NJ Gas Station FLSA Violations

Law360, New York (April 21, 2011, 8:38 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Labor announced Thursday that it would crack down on wage-and-hour violations at New Jersey gas stations, many of which were found to be noncompliant with the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The enforcement action comes after a three-year investigation by the agency's Wage and Hour Division into Garden State gas station employers, finding that many workers were denied fair compensation for their work.
