Judge Dismisses Kerr-McGee Whistleblower Suit

Law360, New York (May 4, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has dismissed Interior Department whistleblower Bobby Maxwell’s request for a final judgment that Kerr-McGee Corp. had underpaid royalties for oil and gas it pumped from the Gulf of Mexico, potentially allowing the drilling company to dodge a $30 million damages payout.
