Judge Trims Kuwaiti Co.'s Suit Over Nixed Army Contracts

Law360, New York (April 25, 2011, 4:30 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Friday tossed an improper contract termination claim in one of four actions a Kuwaiti corporation filed against the U.S. seeking damages over contracts it argues were improperly canceled or mishandled.

U.S. Court of Federal Claims Judge Marian Blank Horn found that the company, Gulf Group General Enterprises Co. WLL, failed to present that claim in a second amended complaint to the contracting officer, in violation of the Contract Disputes Act.
