Law360, New York (April 26, 2011, 6:53 PM ET) -- Electronic Arts Inc. and Google Inc. are among the companies targeted in two separate patent suits over electronic gaming and online advertising filed Monday in Delaware by a company led by the founder of Priceline.com Inc.
Walker Digital LLC, fronted by Jay S. Walker, filed suit against EA and other game companies on Monday and Google and other technology giants on Tuesday, altogether alleging infringement of three patents. The patent asserted in the Google suit was just issued on Tuesday, according to the complaint.
