Ecuadoreans Seek Recusal Of Judge In Chevron Case

Law360, New York (April 27, 2011, 8:20 PM ET) -- Ecuadoreans locked in a bitter legal battle with Chevron Corp. over alleged massive pollution in the Amazon rainforest sought on Wednesday to remove the New York federal judge overseeing Chevron's racketeering suit against them.

The oil giant has accused the Ecuadorean claimants and their New York lawyer, Steven Donziger, of conspiring with law firm Patton Boggs LLP to wage a global extortion campaign against Chevron.
