Law360, New York (May 02, 2011, 1:57 PM ET) -- The Medicines Co. filed a patent infringement suit against Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. in New Jersey on Thursday to block the Indian drugmaker’s planned generic version of anti-coagulant Angiomax.
Medicines Co. claims that Dr. Reddy’s abbreviated new drug application infringes two patents for the drug, an injectable used to treat patients with unstable angina who are undergoing angioplasty.
