Top Companies Join In Push For Health Care Reform

Law360, New York (May 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Chief executives from almost 40 of the country’s leading pharmaceutical, insurance and food companies have teamed up to push for a major health care overhaul, spurred by concerns about the costs of benefits and the effect of those costs on the companies’ competitiveness.

Members of the Coalition to Advance Healthcare Reform joined hands with lawmakers on Monday to unveil their campaign for new market-based state and federal health care policies by 2009.
