Enviros Launch Climate Change Suits Against US, States

Law360, New York (May 04, 2011, 4:06 PM ET) -- The federal government and all 50 states were hit with legal actions Wednesday in California federal court and several state courts alleging the public trust doctrine required them to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and implement reforestation programs in order to fight climate change.
