Judge Won't Stay Discovery In $16M DeCA Contract Suit

Law360, New York (May 4, 2011, 1:16 PM EDT) -- ManTech Advanced Systems International Inc. failed to halt discovery Monday in an Ohio suit brought by rival American Systems Consulting Inc. accusing ManTech of lying to win a $16 million contract from the Defense Commissary Agency.

According to ASCI's amended complaint, ManTech won the inventory system management contract in 2006 by leading the government to believe its respected Program Manager David Kendall-Sperry would head up the work, when in actuality Kendall-Sperry had left to become a priest.
