Flamel Takes Lupin To Court Over Generic Coreg

Law360, New York (May 04, 2011, 10:58 PM ET) -- Flamel Technologies SA filed a patent infringement suit against Lupin Ltd. in Washington on Wednesday over the Indian drug manufacturer's abbreviated new drug application for a generic version of heart-failure treatment drug Coreg.

A generic version of the drug would infringe on U.S. Patent No. 6,022,562, which is held by Flamel and associated with Coreg, according to a press release from Flamel.
