Law360, New York (May 06, 2011, 8:57 PM ET) -- SynQor Inc. said Thursday it had reached a partial settlement and license agreement allowing Fujitsu Ltd. to use its high-efficiency power converter technology, which Fujitsu previously purchased from suppliers that a jury found had infringed SynQor's patents.
Fujitsu was not a party to the suit in which a Texas jury awarded converter manufacturer SynQor $95 million in damages from 10 electronics companies accused of infringing the company's patents for the converter technology, but Fujitsu is a customer of some of the suppliers targeted in the suit....
