Chinese Steels Rods, Valves Were Dumped, US Says

Law360, New York (May 9, 2011, 7:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined that imports of steel threaded rod and front seating service valves from China have been sold below normal value, according to notices published in the Federal Register on Monday.

“If those preliminary results are adopted in the agency’s final determination, the Commerce Department will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess anti-dumping duties on entries of subject merchandise during the [period of review] for which the importer-specific assessment rates are above de minimus,” the agency said....
