Boeing Complaint Not Unprecedented, NLRB Atty Says

Law360, New York (May 9, 2011, 8:10 PM EDT) -- The National Labor Relations Board's acting general counsel on Monday defended the decision to issue a complaint against Boeing Co. for allegedly retaliating against unionized employees, a move that comes just days after Republicans in Congress demanded information about the case.

Acting general counsel Lafe Solomon said the complaint came after a thorough investigation in the field, further review by NLRB lawyers in Washington and his invitation to the parties to discuss a possible settlement.
