Bankrupt Indianapolis Downs Seeks To Stay $600M Suit

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 2:23 PM EDT) -- Casino and racetrack operator Indianapolis Downs LLC launched an adversary complaint in Delaware bankruptcy court Tuesday seeking to block a $600 million contract suit filed by its management company.

The operator of Indiana Downs, which filed for Chapter 11 protection in April, asked the bankruptcy court to stay the suit filed by Power Plant Entertainment Casino Resorts LLC, arguing that the dispute relates too closely to its bankruptcy case.
