1st Circ. Denies Bank Workers 2nd Crack At More Pay

Law360, Washington (May 11, 2011, 7:20 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit on Wednesday denied a request for an en banc rehearing from former employees of now-defunct Robertson Stephens Inc. seeking an additional award of deferred compensation after they won more than $14.7 million in arbitration damages.

In March the appeals court ruled that the plaintiffs, 42 former employees of the investment bank, were not entitled to a second chance to dispute the terms of the 2007 arbitration award in which they won the damages, the longest-running New York Stock Exchange arbitration ever.
