Kodak Cameras Don't Infringe Apple Imaging IP: ITC

Law360, New York (May 12, 2011, 9:37 PM ET) -- Digital cameras made and imported by Eastman Kodak Co. do not infringe two image processing patents held by Apple Inc., according to a preliminary determination issued by the U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday.

Administrative Law Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. said in a notice that Kodak did not infringe five claims of U.S. Patent Number 6,031,964 or four claims of U.S. Patent Number RE38,911 as Apple had asserted. Judge Rogers also found that the relevant claims asserted by the '911 patent were invalid.
