Law360, New York (May 17, 2011, 9:16 PM ET) -- Verizon Communications Inc. asked a Virginia federal judge Friday to reconsider part of a ruling that pared down its counterclaims in a suit brought by ActiveVideo Networks Inc. over interactive TV technology.
Verizon asked U.S. District Judge Raymond A. Jackson for partial reconsideration of his May 10 order holding that the asserted claims of U.S. Patent Numbers 5,682,325 and 6,381,748 — two of four patents Verizon asserted in its Dec. 2 first amended counterclaims — were invalid as anticipated.
