Obama's SEC Nominations Include WilmerHale Atty

Law360, New York (May 18, 2011, 10:17 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama intends to nominate a WilmerHale partner to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and to request that a sitting commissioner receive a second term, the White House said Wednesday.

Daniel M. Gallagher, the WilmerHale securities attorney, will take the seat of Republican commissioner Kathleen L. Casey, whose term expires this year. Luis A. Aguilar is a Democratic member of the commission renominated by Obama.
