HomeBanc Locked Worker Out To Dodge Commission: Suit

Law360, New York (May 23, 2011, 5:09 PM EDT) -- HomeBanc NA breached an employment agreement by locking a former loan officer out of her office so she could not finalize loans and earn thousands in commissions, according to a putative collective action filed Thursday in Florida. 

Ex-loan officer Deborah Myers' state court complaint targets HomeBancorp Inc. — which does business as HomeBanc, according to the complaint — claiming the defendant failed to pay loan officers proper minimum and overtime wages in violation of state and federal law.
