Tropicana Lenders Reach Deal On Kirkland Fees

Law360, New York (May 20, 2011, 8:46 PM ET) -- The steering committee for secured lenders of Tropicana Entertainment LLC agreed to a settlement with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, which had been accused of charging $756,000 in unwarranted fees for the casino operator's complete bankruptcy, according to a motion filed Friday in Delaware bankruptcy court.

The Steering Committee of Lenders to the OpCo Debtors and the Reorganized OpCo Debtors filed the settlement agreement, saying that the deal benefited all parties in interest.
