Outsourcer Paid Workers In Fee-Laden Debit Cards: Suit

Law360, New York (May 23, 2011, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Outsourcing company VXI Global Solutions Inc. unlawfully paid its employees in debit cards riddled with bank fees, according to a class action filed in California on Wednesday.

Larry Robinson Jr., a California resident and hourly employee of VXI, claims the company paid all employees in the state with a Visa Paycard in violation of a California law that states that any form of compensation must be redeemable without incurring unnecessary fees, according to the suit filed in California state court.
