Jones Day Lures Hogan Lovells' China IP Chief

Law360, San Diego (June 1, 2011, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Jones Day said Thursday that it had brought on board the leader of Hogan Lovells’ China intellectual property practice to the firm’s office in Beijing.

Horace Lam has joined Jones Day as a partner, and he will continue to concentrate on all areas of intellectual property, including contentious and noncontentious patent, trademark and copyright matters.

He has assisted multinational firms in enforcing their intellectual property rights in Asia, handled disputes in Hong Kong and across China, and developed brand-protection strategies for Fortune 500 firms’ Asian business....
