Brazilian Court Sides With Tobacco Cos. In $18B Suit

Law360, New York (May 27, 2011, 7:07 PM EDT) -- A Brazilian court has rejected more than $18 billion in claims brought by smokers who argued in a class action launched 16 years ago that Philip Morris Brazil SA and Souza Cruz SA harmed them through misleading advertising, Souza Cruz said Friday.
