Apple, Intel, HP Face Microprocessor Patent Suit

Law360, New York (May 31, 2011, 6:41 PM EDT) -- X2Y Attenuators LLC launched a suit Tuesday against Intel Corp., Apple Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co. in Pennsylvania federal court, alleging infringement of five patents for microprocessor components.

Nevada-based X2Y Attenuators, which describes itself as “an intellectual property company that develops advanced passive component solutions for the electronics industry,” claims that Intel, Apple and HP have made and sold microprocessors and personal computers containing microprocessors that infringe the patents-in-suit.
