Federal Economic Crime Investigator Joins Kilpatrick

Law360, New York (June 3, 2011, 5:20 PM EDT) -- Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Clay C. Wheeler, who was also chief of the Eastern District of North Carolina's economic crimes section, has left the public sector to join Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP's litigation department, the law firm said Thursday.

Wheeler, who joins the 650-lawyer firm in its Winston-Salem and Raleigh offices, led teams as a prosecutor since 2002 in the investigation, prosecution and, when necessary, trial of complex financial crimes.
