Feds Trim Charges In Muni Bond Bid-Rigging Case

Law360, New York (June 2, 2011, 6:09 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors in New York filed a pared-down superseding indictment Tuesday against three former financial services executives who allegedly participated in a scheme to set artificially low bids on state and municipal bonds.

The new indictment charges Dominick P. Carollo with three counts of conspiracy and one count of wire fraud, Steven E. Goldberg with five counts of conspiracy and one count of wire fraud, and Peter S. Grimm with four counts of conspiracy and one count of wire fraud.
