Law360, New York (June 02, 2011, 7:29 PM ET) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. and subsidiary Palm Inc. reached a settlement Thursday in a patent infringement suit brought by Texas patent-holding company Ogma LLC over the use of a motion-activated sound device.
HP, which acquired Palm in 2010, and co-defendant Pantech Wireless Inc. filed separate motions to dismiss, saying they had reached respective settlements with the plaintiff. The motions asked the court to dismiss the claims with prejudice, but did not outline the terms of the agreements.
