Law360, San Diego (June 03, 2011, 3:23 PM ET) -- General Motors Co., Microsoft Corp., Motorola Mobility Inc. and others on Thursday were targeted in litigation in a Delaware federal court by a patent-holding firm alleging the companies infringed its GPS technology.
Longview, Texas-based Qaxaz LLC sued a total of 17 defendants in two suits, claiming they made and sold a device and method for remotely entering, storing and sharing addresses for a positional information device that violated its patent, U.S. Patent Number 7,917,285, which was issued in March.
