EEOC Told Job Test Guidelines Need Revision

Law360, New York (May 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Guidelines on employment screening tests are due for an update, attorneys and advocates told the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission at a public hearing on Wednesday.

The hearing addressed the ways tests for screening job applicants have changed in recent years, and what the EEOC should do to enforce laws such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
