Law360, New York (June 07, 2011, 2:22 PM ET) -- Rambus Inc. announced Monday that it had signed a licensing deal with Freescale Semiconductor Inc. over memory controller patents, ending a dispute in the U.S. International Trade Commission and in California federal court.
The five-year deal covers memory controllers and serial links in a range of Freescale's logic integrated circuit products, according to Rambus. A spokesman for Freescale confirmed the public terms of the licensing deal but declined to comment further, and additional details of the agreement were kept under wraps.
