Texas Patent Suit Targets High-Tech Big Guns

Law360, New York (November 4, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- A series of little-noticed patent lawsuits involving the world’s top technology companies and some of the most preeminent intellectual property practices in the U.S. is steadily moving its way through a Texas federal court.

The three lawsuits, filed in August in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas by attorneys for McKool Smith on behalf of Marshall, Texas-based American Video Graphics, targets console makers and other players in the gaming industry.
