Law360, New York (June 09, 2011, 7:08 PM ET) -- An Alaska federal judge on Wednesday rejected a bid to dismiss Sears Roebuck & Co.'s suit accusing two convenience store companies of failing to contain a petroleum spill, ruling that Sears' claims were sufficient for the suit to survive.
The suit, filed in October, alleges Williams Express Inc. and Holiday Alaska Inc. have not properly cleaned up a spill at a property in Anchorage, Alaska, that has supposedly contaminated one of Sears' facilities.
