Judge Won't Bar Northrop's State Enviro Suit V. Reuland

Law360, New York (June 10, 2011, 7:59 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday refused to bar Northrop Grumman System Inc.'s state court suit demanding that Reuland Electric Co. contribute to a $5 million settlement with a water supplier over groundwater contamination.

The suit stems from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's determination that Reuland, Northrop and others caused volatile organic compounds contamination in the San Gabriel Basin, near Los Angeles.
