Law360, New York (June 10, 2011, 10:22 PM ET) -- The Superior Court of Pennsylvania on Friday affirmed a $187 million award for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. employees who were allegedly forced to work off the clock and skip rest and meal breaks.
In a 211-page opinion that relied heavily on testimony given at trial, the appeals court said there was sufficient evidence on the record to conclude that Wal-Mart breached its contract with its workers and violated state wage laws.
