Lloyd's Unit Amlin Exits Bid-Rigging MDL

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 8:12 PM ET) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Monday dismissed a Lloyd's of London syndicate from a long-running insurance bid-rigging multidistrict litigation led by a host of companies including New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC and Tyson Foods Inc.

U.S. District Judge Garrett Brown Jr. signed off on an order under which the companies have agreed to dismiss their claims against Lloyd’s unit Amlin PLC with prejudice, with the parties to bear their own attorneys’ costs and fees.
