Feds Seek 4-Year Prison Term For Chiesi

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 8:39 PM ET) -- Federal prosecutors are seeking to put Danielle Chiesi, who pled guilty to passing inside tips to Galleon Group LLC co-founder Raj Rajaratnam and others, behind bars for up to nearly four years, according to court documents filed Monday in New York.

Prosecutors want a 37-46 month prison sentence for Chiesi after she copped to three conspiracy counts on Jan. 19. Chiesi, who is scheduled to be sentenced June 30, is a “consummate Wall Street insider" who passed along nonpublic information to high-profile hedge fund players in...
