France's Capgemini Plans $553M Prosodie Buy

Law360, New York (June 14, 2011, 1:35 PM EDT) -- French information technology provider Capgemini SA said Tuesday it would buy Prosodie, a multichannel services operator, from private equity firm Apax Partners LLP for about €382 million ($553 million).

Capgemini said it was in exclusive talks to acquire Prosodie, a move that would further expand its client-relationship offerings, with Prosodie's management team and funds managed by Apax. The all-cash price includes the costs of Prosodie's May acquisitions of Internet-Fr in France and LevelIP in Italy.
