Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 2:10 PM ET) -- Sensor and electrical protection manufacturer Sensata Technologies Inc. on Wednesday announced the $325 million acquisition of Sensor-Nite NV, a Belgian unit of the Elex Group specializing in high-temperature sensors for fuel-efficient cars.
Sensata entered an agreement to buy the shares of Sensor-Nite for €225 million ($325 million) and expand on its core sensor business to better capitalize on the increasingly stringent emissions standards for trucks and cars.
