Law360, New York (June 17, 2011, 11:53 AM ET) -- Texas Instruments Inc. on Thursday became the latest company to settle a patent suit brought by Eolas Technologies Inc. in a Texas federal court over interactive website technology.
Eolas and Texas instruments filed a joint stipulation of dismissal of the suit, in which Eolas claimed that numerous companies have infringed two patents for technology to enable web browsers to host embedded interactive applications.
The suit specifically alleged that Texas Instruments' website infringed the patents by including content that was interactively presented in web browsers.
