China To Keep Duties On US, Japan Chemical Imports

Law360, New York (June 17, 2011, 3:28 PM EDT) -- China has decided to continue assessing anti-dumping duties on imports of the industrial chemical hydrazine hydrate from the U.S., Japan, South Korea and France, the Ministry of Commerce said Friday.

After a final review investigation, Chinese regulators found that lifting the duties on the U.S. imports would likely open the door for continued dumping, while scrapping the duties on imports from Japan, South Korea and France might lead to dumping, according to a statement posted on the ministry's website.
