Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 2:07 PM ET) -- Le-Nature's Inc.'s former CEO pled guilty Monday afternoon in a suit in Pennsylvania over an alleged $806 million accounting scheme at the now-defunct bottling company.
Gregory Podlucky had been fighting charges that he orchestrated the massive fraud at Latrobe, Pa.-based Le-Nature's, falsifying the company’s financials and bankrolling a lavish lifestyle. The alleged deception ended with the company's 2006 bankruptcy petition.
The defendant changed his not guilty plea to guilty, according to a Monday filing. Counsel for Podlucky was not immediately available for comment.
