High Court Reverses Pa. Cop’s Retaliation Suit Win

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 1:38 PM ET) -- The First Amendment's petition clause does not protect public workers against employer retaliation when they petition the government over private concerns, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday, striking down a win for a police chief who sued a Pennsylvania borough.
