Law360, New York (June 21, 2011, 4:42 PM ET) -- The Sixth Circuit on Tuesday upheld the dismissal of a suit from Daimler Chrysler Corp. machine repairmen in Ohio alleging their union got them laid off, finding that several claims were time-barred, while the rest lacked merit.
Repairmen from two Toledo, Ohio, plants filed suit against the United Auto Workers union over decisions made by a union-created committee tasked with establishing lines of demarcation, or LDC, that delineated responsibilities among skilled tradesmen.
