GAO Denies Bid Protest Over Bagram Air Field B-Huts

Law360, New York (June 22, 2011, 4:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday denied an Afghanistan-based contractor's bid protest alleging the U.S. Army improperly determined its proposal to construct residential concrete b-huts at Bagram Air Field was technically unacceptable.

The GAO rejected arguments by ALOPS that it did not have to show performance of all of the requirements in a “statement of work” that was part of the request for proposals at issue because they were supposedly post-award requirements.
