Supreme Court Rejects CSX's Take On Liability Standard

Law360, New York (June 23, 2011, 3:25 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a victory for a locomotive engineer who won $184,250 after suing CSX Transportation Inc. over a hand injury, rejecting CSX's claim that a tougher standard for determining employer liability should have been applied.
