ITC Extends Review In Kodak’s Case Against Apple, RIM

Law360, San Diego (June 23, 2011, 9:38 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Thursday it will take an additional week to review whether Apple Inc.’s iPhone and Research in Motion Ltd.’s Blackberry infringed Eastman Kodak Co.’s digital camera patent.

The agency, which announced in March that it would reconsider an earlier ruling that found the respondents did not violate the patent, set its new target date to complete the investigation as June 30.

Kodak has said that a decision in its favor could help it wrest more than a $1 billion in royalties...
