Law360, New York (June 24, 2011, 2:30 PM ET) -- In an issue of first impression, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled that UnitedHealth Group Inc. was entitled to information from GlaxoSmithKline PLC about litigation between the drugmaker and its insureds in a planned class action over injuries from Avandia and Paxil.
“Plaintiff's interest in obtaining the identities of its relevant insured outweighs any competing interest,” said Judge Mark I. Bernstein in a June 16 ruling.
