Complaints Over English-Only Workplaces Increase

Law360, New York (May 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As the population and the workforce of the United States becomes increasingly diverse, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is receiving more employee complaints about English-only policies in the workplace.

The number of cases filed by the EEOC alleging violations stemming from such policies has remained stagnant, but the issue is nonetheless still an increasingly a sticky one for employers.
