Agencies Seek Standardized Past Performance Reviews

Law360, New York (June 28, 2011, 5:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. General Services Administration and NASA proposed a rule Tuesday that would standardize the evaluation criteria for contractors' past performance reviews, after a decision last year to collect all reviews into a single governmentwide database.

The rule, which aims to implement recommendations from a 2009 report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office and policy memos from the the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, would require all past performance information to be entered into the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System, a governmentwide...
