Law360, New York (June 29, 2011, 1:28 PM ET) -- A former Alliant Techsystems Inc. manager on Tuesday resolved a suit alleging that he was unlawfully terminated after he accused the defense contractor of falsely stating that ammunition it sold to the U.S. Army conformed to government specifications.
U.S. District Judge Dean Whipple approved the dismissal of the qui tam action with prejudice Tuesday, a day after the parties filed a joint stipulation requesting that the suit be closed with each party to bear its own attorneys' fees and costs.
